Audits/assessments include but not limited to: • Asset Management Services - Asset Performance & Life Assessment • Performance Conformity & Compliance Audit • Regulatory Compliance • Operations QA/QC Audit • Operations Audit – People & Processes • Audit Services – Compliance Verification • Troubleshooting – Performance & Breakdowns • Data Analytics • Real-Time Data & Documentation Management • Failure Analysis • EOP / SOP/ MOP Development • Process Improvement Consulting • Upgrades & Retrofits to Upscale the Performance • Prepare technical reports detailing necessary recommendations to take corrective actions and implementation of the right operational strategies. • Understanding of data center construction standards and requirements. • Ability to read, understand, and apply applicable building and fire codes and energy standards. • Familiarity of data center design drawings, basis of design (BOD), sequence of operations (SOO), BMS/EPMS monitoring and control systems, and equipment controllers. • Understanding of equipment usage/consumption to develop energy strategies/improvements on both new builds and existing infrastructure. Specialists need to have adept analytical and problem-solving skills. • Possesses ability to perform project design reviews, develop Cx Plans, load bank plans, and power quality metering plans. • Possesses ability to manage group’s projects that include understanding the project proposal and scope of work documents, developing project schedules and deliverables, developing Deltek plans, managing all financial aspects, i.e. project opening, accounts payable, accounts receivable, revenue projections, and project closeout. • Utilizes the company’s accounting, project management, and resource planning systems to accurately forecast project resource requirements and billing projections, as well as expenses on assigned projects. • Represents the company’s interest in delivery of services in accordance with the contractual requirements and company standards. • Plans and manages multiple concurrent activities to accomplish desired project results. • Maintains BVPI’s interest during client communication and withholds any potentially sensitive BVPI proprietary information. • Responds to new project opportunities and able to develop project proposals & credentials to Client. • Works to expand current contracted service offering for current clients. • Works to identify and develop viable opportunities for additional BVPI service offerings outside of the currently contracted service offering for current clients. • Identifies opportunities for professional development for self and supervised employees as well as pursues ongoing professional development training. • Has ability to travel to project sites, primarily in North America, but may require international travel occasionally
Required Skills & Experience
- Electrical Engineering Degree
- Strong technical knowledge of data center facility systems (Power systems and distribution systems/substations, etc.)
- Willing to travel ~ 40 – 50%
- Experience managing personnel
- Understands data center documentation, i.e. construction drawings, specifications, sequence of operation, basis of design
