The Carpenter performs skilled commercial construction tasks including framing, backing, blocking, installing doors/frames/hardware, and assembling structural and finish components on Brady West projects. Carpenters must maintain high-quality craftsmanship, follow Cal/OSHA and Brady West safety procedures, and work collaboratively with field teams.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Install wood/metal studs, backing, and rough framing

• Perform layout from plans and construction drawings

• Install doors, frames, hardware, and finish components

• Operate hand and power tools safely

• Work on ladders, lifts, scaffolds, and elevated platforms

• Assist with material handling and jobsite cleanup

• Travel to multiple jobsites as required

Requirements:

• Commercial carpentry experience or union apprenticeship

• Ability to lift 60 lbs regularly, 100 lbs occasionally

• Reliable transportation and the ability to work at multiple sites
