We are seeking a skilled TIG Welder to join our client, an aerospace company based in Fort Myers. The TIG Welder will be responsible for welding and fabricating aerospace components, ensuring compliance with industry and company standards. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and a commitment to quality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform TIG (GTAW) welding on aluminum, stainless steel, and other aerospace-grade materials.
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and welding specifications to ensure accuracy.
• Set up and operate welding equipment, adjusting settings for optimal performance.
• Inspect welds using visual and non-destructive testing (NDT) methods to ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Work with engineers and quality inspectors to address welding-related issues.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment in accordance with OSHA and company safety protocols.
• Document welding processes and inspections as required for quality control.
• Collaborate with team members to improve welding techniques and efficiency.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; welding certification or technical training is a plus.
• Minimum 2 years of TIG welding experience, preferably in aerospace or precision manufacturing.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Must be able to pass a welding test as part of the hiring process.

Pay rate commensurate with experience (up to $30).
