Ridge Creek Dinuba Golf Club sits in the heart of the Central Valley near Fresno, California. It boasts an award-winning par 72 Championship John Fought designed golf course. The clubhouse features The Patio Grill, a full-service restaurant with spectacular patio that overlooks the 9th green and surrounding course and the “Event Center,” with a capacity of up to 350 persons for special events. With service from buffet to more formal sit-down plated events, Ridge Creek Dinuba holds in excess of 100 hospitality-oriented events on an annual basis.

Position Summary

Greets Guests as they arrive at the restaurant, seat at assigned tables, make phone and in person reservations in reservation system and assist with other restaurant work as needed.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Be genuine, helpful, and friendly towards all guests and team members.
• Answer phones and take accurate reservations through our digital reservation software.
• Maintain menus at the hosts and keep the area clean and presentable.
• Seat guests in a timely manner and maintain the digital floorplan.
• Take to-go orders accurately from guests and input them into the POS system.
• Be able to describe all food being served.
• Attend pre-meal meetings as requested.
• Turn in signed tip declaration form weekly (where applicable)
• Comply with uniform requirements and hygiene standard as set forth by the club.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills (English)
• Perform other duties as appropriate.

Qualifications:

• High school preferred.
• No experience necessary.
• Demonstrated quality interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to analyze and solve problems; efficiently handle multiple duties under pressure with minimal supervision; work flexible hours as required including nights/weekends.
• Positive attitude, professional manner and appearance in all situations.

Working Conditions

Work hours may include days and evenings on weekdays and weekends.  Subject to inside and outside environmental conditions.  May be exposed to inclement weather, potentially dangerous chemicals, solvents, pesticides, herbicides, and fertilizers, misdirected golf balls, sharp and rapid equipment movement daily. Injury may result because of exposure to the above if safety policies and practices are not properly followed.

Part-time, Non-Seasonal, Hourly, Non-Exempt

Salary Range:
$16.90 per hour.
