Non-IT Project Coordinator-UX Research

Remote- In office 2 days per week every few weeks

Location- Plano, TX

Duration- 12 Months

Pay- $25-$30/Hr

Seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive Design Research Coordinator to support our research operations, controls and recruitment practices. This role is essential in supporting participant recruitment logistics, stakeholder communications, and research facility operations, to ensure seamless execution of research studies. The ideal candidate is meticulous, self-motivated, and confident—someone who thrives on structure, can juggle multiple tasks, and knows when to escalate, collaborate, or dive in independently. While expertise in leading UX research efforts isn’t required, familiarity with qualitative research methods and unmoderated usability studies is desired.

In addition, although some work may be done remotely, this role will be expected to be onsite for research interview days (couple days at a time, every few weeks).

• MS Office (Excel, Powerpoint, SharePoint), FigJam or Zoom Whiteboards, Confluence Wiki

Key Responsibilities

• Manage participant recruitment for all research studies and provide proactive communication throughout the planning phase.
• Partner with recruiters to ensure study timelines stay on track, quality check updates as they are submitted, and flag any issues early and often for discussion.
• Ensure timely receipt of participant consent forms, escalate issues as needed, and ensure timely and accurate documentation.
• Execute and uphold relevant controls during the research process to ensure compliance with data protection standards.
• Support control testing efforts in collaboration with risk partners, maintain and document risk processes, and conduct quality checks on materials to ensure satisfactory results.
• Oversee research lab operations to ensure smooth execution of studies, including supporting teams onsite during active research sessions, managing lab logistics, materials, and equipment, and troubleshooting issues, as needed, to optimize the research environment.
• Own and manage monthly metrics, reporting, and communications to provide visibility into research activities.
• Identify efficiencies and improvements in research operations, workflows, and reporting metrics.
