Litigation Associate

SNI is seeking a mid-level litigation associate to join a well-established and growing commercial litigation practice!

The successful candidate will work closely with partners on a variety of commercial litigation matters, and ideally have a background within commercial litigation.

Responsibilities:

• Represent clients in state and federal courts; Communicate effectively with clients regarding case updates and legal processes.
• Assist in the development of case strategies by analyzing relevant laws and regulations.
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and settlement agreements.
• Prepare for court appearances by organizing case files and evidence.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys on litigation matters, providing support in trial preparation.
• Participate in negotiations and settlement discussions as needed.

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Licensed to practice law in the state of Maryland
• 2 – 7 years of experience practicing law with a focus on commercial or civil litigation
• Strong writing skills with the ability to articulate complex legal concepts clearly.
