Java AWS Tech Lead

What is in it for you?

As a Java AWS Tech Lead, you are expected to provide architecture, solutioning, and estimations for migration projects.

• Mandatory Skills: AWS, Architecture Java, Microservices EKS
• Desired Skills: Angular, GitHub, Redis, Junit, Mockito, Docker, Scrum

Key Responsibilities

• Understanding of application and data migration to AWS, including Full Stack Java, AWS, PostgreSQL or SQL Server, Bitbucket or similar, Junit, Mockito, IAM.

• Knowledge of microservices architecture and development using platforms like Spring Cloud or Netflix. Experience with containerization using Kubernetes and Docker.

• Familiarity with messaging queues like Kafka.

• Strong knowledge of full stack Java, SQL Server, Bitbucket, or Junit. Customer-facing skills to drive discussions with senior client constituents regarding best practices, excution planning, and risk mitigation.

• Demonstrated ability to think strategically about business, product, and technical challenges. Highly technical and analytical, with significant experience in IT implementation.

• Deep hands-on experience leading the design, deployment, and management of scalable, highly available, and fault-tolerant business systems.

• Proven experience with software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile/iterative methodologies. Passionate about learning and able to absorb new technologies quickly.

• Experience with IT compliance and risk management requirements (e.g., security, privacy, SOX, HIPAA, etc.).

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Provide technical guidance and mentor the development team.
• Understand the existing architecture from the client team and ensure alignment with AWS migration best practices.
• Ensure the correct use of recommended tech stack, framework, and tools in development.
• Maintain code quality and performance optimization.
• Identify potential risks and take appropriate action for mitigation.
• Good to Have: Experience with Angular.

Educational Qualifications: -

• Engineering Degree – BE/ME/BTech/MTech/BSc/MSc.
• Technical certification in multiple technologies is desirable.
