Prolink is seeking experienced Field Service Engineers to join our team and support a wide range of industrial clients in their mission-critical operations. As a Field Service Engineer at Prolink, you’ll play a critical role in ensuring our manufacturing clients stay operational and efficient. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Install, calibrate, and maintain advanced laser-cutting and bending machines, pipe and tube processing equipment, and industrial automation systems.
  • Troubleshoot and repair issues on-site using diagnostic tools, electric/electronic test equipment, and technical manuals.
  • Collaborate with manufacturers in industries such as automotive, aerospace, construction, and industrial fabrication to ensure their machinery runs efficiently.
  • Provide real-time technical support and training to client teams, helping them optimize their use of software and equipment.
  • Maintain detailed service logs, including completed repairs, preventive maintenance schedules, and any recommendations for future service needs.
  • Accurately complete service reports, timesheets, and expense logs in a timely manner.
  • Adhere to OSHA safety guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Ensure all machinery installations meet regulatory and client-specific safety standards.

Qualifications :

  • High school diploma required; Associate degree in a technical discipline or equivalent military experience preferred.
  • 2-4 years in a technical role, with at least 1 year of customer-facing experience.
  • Technical Skills:
  • Hands-on experience with laser machinery from manufacturers like Trumpf, Amada, or Mazak.
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting mechanical and electronic systems using diagnostic equipment.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (no more than 2 points in the last 3 years).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Experience working in manufacturing environments or with automated machinery.

  • Bending and Forming Equipment: Machines for shaping pipes, tubes, and sheets to exact specifications.
  • Automation Systems: High-tech solutions that integrate robotics and software for efficient production.
  • Diagnostic Tools: Electrical test equipment for troubleshooting complex machinery.
  • Software Platforms: Manufacturer-specific programs used to program and operate industrial machinery.

Physical and Travel Requirements

  • Ability to lift and move up to 50-70 pounds.
  • Comfortable performing physical tasks, including standing, climbing, kneeling, and using manual tools.
  • Willingness to travel 90% of the time, both domestically and internationally, including extended periods on-site.
