Job Description

You will be working for a trusted leader in providing enterprise and hyperscale customers with customized data centre solutions. Your impact to the business:

As a Critical Facilities Technician, you will play a key role in the day-to-day operations of the data center, focusing on the critical and non-critical infrastructure, equipment, and systems. You will be part of a team that delivers 100% uptime by adhering to best practices and safety standards, ensuring reliable data center performance. With a focus on ongoing development and learning, you will work to improve operational excellence and maintain a high level of accountability within the facility.

  • Operate and maintain critical and non-critical data center infrastructure.
  • Ensure 100% uptime and manage risks with the CFT team.
  • Monitor power, cooling, and environmental conditions in data halls.
  • Use CMMS to track and manage maintenance tasks.
  • Perform preventive maintenance on electrical and mechanical equipment.
  • Resolve technical issues and respond to emergencies quickly.
  • Assist with development and review of procedures and maintenance inspections.
  • Escort and oversee contractors, ensuring compliance with facility rules.
  • Conduct facility rounds and assist with operations, construction, and commissioning as needed.

The Necessities:

  • High school diploma required; military or technical school training preferred.
  • 2-4+ years of experience in Mission Critical Environments.
  • Electrical or mechanical license preferred.
  • Must complete Level I training within 30 days and Level II training within 60 days of employment.
