Job Summary: Develops, implements and/or maintains one or a combination of cost accounting systems. Prepares journal entries; maintains and reconciles ledger accounts. Collects data, allocates costs and prepares reports on labor, equipment, depreciation, assemblies or other operating expenses, ensuring that established procedures are followed. Prepares variance reports as requested. May do analysis and prepare special reports. May interpret reports and records for managers

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

• Reviews monthly variances and understand cost impact
• Performs inventory valuations, reconciliations and reporting
• Determines monthly warranty reserves
• Analyzes and reports on E&O material
• Performs month end account reconciliation and journal entries
• Assists with SOX 404 compliance and audits
• Service Order financial data management, including monitoring status, correcting accounting structure, and month end Financial processing and reconciliation.
• Assists with Fixed Assets
• Supports the general Accounting function as required

Job Qualifications:

• Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalent
• General accounting experience desired, Cost Accounting experience a plus
• Knowledge of General Accounting Principles
• Basic MS Excel skills required;
• Experience with an ERP or MRP System a plus. SAP knowledge a plus.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment a plus
