AI-Driven SEO Specialist (Remote, In-House Marketing Team)

Are you an SEO expert who understands that the future of search is AI-powered? Our New York–based estate planning law firm is seeking a Remote AI-Driven SEO Specialist to join our in-house marketing team. This role goes beyond traditional keyword optimization; we’re looking for someone who knows how to adapt content and structure for AI search engines, voice queries, and emerging intelligent platforms.

About the Role

As part of our in-house marketing team, you’ll lead and refine our search strategy, ensuring our website, blog, and social content are fully optimized for both human readers and AI algorithms. You’ll collaborate with our marketing director and coordinator to keep our online presence ahead of the curve — blending SEO best practices with innovation and data-driven insights.

What You’ll Do

• Manage and optimize on-site foundational SEO (metadata, site architecture, page experience, internal linking).
• Implement advanced SEO strategies for AI-driven search, including voice optimization, semantic search, and structured data markup.
• Continuously monitor and improve rankings, visibility, and traffic performance through analytics and emerging AI SEO tools.
• Collaborate on weekly blog posts, monthly newsletters, and social content to ensure every piece aligns with AI search intent.
• Support CRM integrations (GoHighLevel, Lawmatics, Caret Legal) for automated campaigns, blog digests, and lead nurturing workflows.
• Maintain and improve website performance and coordinate with external vendors when needed.
• Conduct competitive and local SEO analysis, interpreting AI search trends to inform ongoing strategy.
• Stay up to date on Google’s Search Generative Experience (SGE) and other evolving AI technologies impacting SEO.

What We’re Looking For

• 3+ years of hands-on SEO experience, with proven results in AI or semantic search optimization.
• Deep understanding of on-page, off-page, and technical SEO.
• Familiarity with AI-enhanced tools like ChatGPT, SurferSEO, Clearscope, or others for content strategy and optimization.
• Experience using Google Analytics, Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, and similar platforms.
• Understanding of content strategy, CRM systems (GoHighLevel or Lawmatics preferred), and email marketing automation.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Curiosity and drive to stay ahead of digital trends — especially the AI revolution in search.

Bonus Skills

• Experience in legal marketing or professional services.
• Knowledge of schema markup, local SEO, and content clustering.
• Working knowledge of WordPress and basic HTML/CSS.
