We are partnering with a nationally recognized, rapidly growing construction management firm in the Northeast to find a highly motivated Construction Project Scheduler to join their dynamic team in Quincy, Massachusetts.

This is more than just creating timelines. This is about being a key strategic partner, ensuring that complex, multi-faceted projects – from cutting-edge healthcare facilities to vibrant academic campuses and luxury residential developments – are delivered on time and within budget. Our client is known for their commitment to integrity, innovation, and fostering a supportive, family-like culture where employees are empowered to grow.

Your Role as Construction Project Scheduler:

Reporting directly to the Vice President of Field Operations, you will be the driving force behind efficient and effective project scheduling. You'll leverage your expertise in Microsoft Project and Critical Path Method (CPM) scheduling to:

  • Collaborate closely with project managers, superintendents, estimators, and trade partners.
  • Analyze project plans and specifications to identify key milestones and potential scheduling challenges.
  • Proactively identify and mitigate schedule risks, ensuring projects stay on track.
  • Provide regular schedule updates and reports to project teams and clients.
  • Coordinate with external scheduling consultants as needed.
  • Contribute to the development of winning RFP and proposal schedules.
  • Understand construction plans and specifications.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Possesses a strong track record of success in construction project scheduling.
  • Is a Microsoft Project power user, with a deep understanding of CPM principles.
  • Demonstrates excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills.
  • Is highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Has experience scheduling full-cycle construction projects in various sectors (general construction, healthcare, private equity, multifamily a plus).
  • Experience with P6 Scheduling is highly valued.
  • Is able to work in-person from the Quincy, MA office, with occasional travel to project sites.

Exceptional Benefits:

  • Competitive salary
  • Comprehensive health insurance (80% employer-covered)
  • Pet insurance
  • Generous PTO (3 weeks minimum to start)
  • Paid holidays (8), plus 2 floating holidays and your birthday off!
  • A supportive and growth-oriented work environment

What Sets Our Client Apart:

  • Nationally Ranked: Recognized as one of the top contractors in the country.
  • Growth-Oriented: One of the fastest-growing construction companies in the Northeast, offering ample career advancement opportunities.
  • Impact-Driven: Committed to building projects that positively impact communities.
