What You’ll Do:
As the Club Controller , you will play a pivotal role in ensuring financial integrity and strategic planning for the HOA and golf club. Your expertise will support the club’s leadership, Board of Directors, and department heads in making sound financial decisions. Key responsibilities include:
🔹 Financial Leadership: Prepare and analyze monthly and year-end financial statements, forecasts, and reports while ensuring compliance with internal policies and HOA regulations.
🔹 Budget & Forecasting: Coordinate annual budgets, monitor spending, and provide detailed variance explanations.
🔹 Accounting Oversight: Manage all financial transactions, from accounts payable and receivable to bank reconciliations and inventory validation.
🔹 Cash Flow Management: Oversee cash flow strategies, maintain the chart of accounts, and ensure timely vendor payments.
🔹 Compliance & Reporting: Prepare audit and tax packages and ensure timely financial reporting to leadership.
🔹 Collaboration & Strategy: Serve as a trusted advisor to club leadership, providing financial insights to guide business decisions.
What You Bring:
✔ Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
✔ 5+ years of accounting experience in a country club or similar hospitality setting (HOA experience a plus!)
✔ Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, and compliance
✔ Experience with Microsoft Office, property management systems, and online banking platforms
✔ Excellent communication skills with the ability to present financials clearly and concisely
✔ Ability to thrive in a team-oriented and high-profile role
✔ Familiarity with Northstar accounting software, Troon and Icon knowledge is a plus!
