As a Cloud Solution Architect, you will lead the design and implementation of cloud solutions with a primary focus on Microsoft Azure and AWS environments. You will be responsible for creating scalable, cost-effective architectures that align with business objectives while ensuring compliance with healthcare industry standards.

Cloud Solution Design Leadership

• Design scalable, secure cloud solutions for critical healthcare applications
• Create comprehensive technical architectures following cloud-native principles
• Establish and maintain cloud solution patterns and best practices
• Drive architectural decisions aligned with business objectives
• Lead solution development teams through complex implementations
• Guide implementation approaches and methodologies
• Define technical requirements and success criteria

Technical Innovation and Best Practices

• Drive innovation in cloud solution design and implementation
• Establish and maintain cloud architecture standards
• Implement cloud-native design patterns and best practices
• Ensure solution quality through architectural reviews
• Create reusable solution patterns and templates
• Drive adoption of infrastructure as code practices
• Lead proof-of-concept initiatives for new cloud services

Cloud Performance and Optimization

• Design for optimal cloud performance and scalability
• Implement FinOps practices for cost optimization
• Lead cloud performance engineering initiatives
• Establish monitoring and observability standards
• Drive continuous improvement in cloud solutions
• Optimize cloud resource utilization
• Implement auto-scaling and performance optimization patterns

Stakeholder Partnership and Delivery

• Partner with business stakeholders to understand requirements
• Guide implementation teams through solution delivery
• Lead technical discovery and planning sessions
• Provide expertise in cloud service selection and design
• Drive successful delivery of cloud initiatives
• Mentor junior architects and development teams
• Facilitate cross-team collaboration

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• 8+ years of IT experience with 5+ years in cloud architecture
• Deep expertise in AWS cloud architectures and services
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Azure services and architecture
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)
• Understanding of FinOps principles and practices
• Healthcare industry experience preferred
• Experience with cloud-native application design

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in related field
• HashiCorp Certified: Terraform Associate
• FinOps Certified Practitioner
• Cloud security certifications and experience
• Cloud database services experience
• Experience with healthcare compliance frameworks
• Knowledge of container orchestration (Kubernetes)
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines
• Background in performance engineering

Desired Certifications:

• One or more of the following:
  • Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect Expert
  • AWS Solutions Architect Associate/Professional
  • AWS DevOps Engineer Professional
