Robert Half Legal is partnering with a boutique civil litigation firm in search of a highly skilled Associate Attorney to join their dynamic team. Key Responsibilities:

• Manage all aspects of civil litigation cases, including legal research, drafting pleadings, motions, and correspondence with courts and opposing counsel.
• Represent clients in hearings, depositions, mediations, and trials.
• Assist in case development by analyzing legal issues, developing case strategies, and maintaining case files.
• Maintain effective client communication, provide legal advice, and address client needs promptly.
• Collaborate with the firm’s partners and other team members to ensure high-quality service delivery.
• Monitor and meet deadlines for filings and ensure compliance with state and local court rules.
• Stay current on legal developments and changes in the laws relevant to civil litigation practice.

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school and active membership in the state bar (required).
• Minimum one (1) year of civil litigation experience.
• Strong knowledge of civil procedure and local court rules.
• Proven ability to handle all stages of litigation independently, including trial preparation and courtroom experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and attention to detail.
• Tech-savvy with experience using legal research platforms (e.g., LexisNexis or Westlaw) and case management tools.
• Ability to work efficiently in a remote or hybrid environment with minimal supervision.
