• The Zip Rider: Soar 1,300 feet high, over a mile long, at speeds up to 60 mph—it’s 90 seconds of pure adrenaline!
• Teamwork & Fun: Work at the scenic top tower to prepare riders for their epic adventure or at the bottom tower to greet them with a smile.
• Alaska’s Beauty: Surround yourself with stunning landscapes, rich culture, and unforgettable wildlife.

What You’ll Do:

• Ensure Safety First: Securely strap guests into harness seats at the top tower and release them at the bottom using a double-check system.
• Manage harness returns between the top and bottom towers.
• Learn and share knowledge about Icy Strait Point’s history, culture, and other attractions.
• Participate in all required training and safety meetings.
• Deliver excellent customer service, ensuring each guest feels safe, informed, and excited.

What You Bring:

• A strong commitment to safety and attention to detail.
• Great communication skills with the ability to guide guests of all ages.
• Physical capability to lift, reach, and push/pull equipment.
• A willingness to learn about Tlingit culture and share it with guests.
• Must be 18+ for the top tower or 16+ for the bottom tower.
• Current First Aid/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain).

Physical Requirements:

• Able to lift up to 40 lbs, stand for extended periods, and walk up to 5+ miles daily.
• Comfortable living and working in a remote, rural community.
• Willing to travel by small plane or ferry.
• Able to work in varying weather conditions on gravel roads.
