Job Summary

The warehouse supervisor is responsible for overseeing all warehouse activities related to the receipt, storage, and shipment of goods in a manufacturing environment. Key duties and responsibilities include:

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

• Supervising warehouse operations: Directing and coordinating the activities of warehouse staff to ensure efficient and safe operation of the facility.
• Inventory management: Monitoring inventory levels, conducting regular audits, and ensuring accurate stock records in collaboration with the production team.
• Safety compliance: Enforcing safety protocols and procedures to maintain a secure work environment, especially when dealing with forklift operators and spotter trucks.
• Training and development: Providing guidance, training, and support to warehouse staff to improve performance and productivity.
• Quality control: Implementing quality assurance processes to ensure products are stored and handled correctly to prevent damage or spoilage.
• Equipment maintenance: Overseeing the maintenance and repair of spotter trucks and other warehouse equipment to ensure they are in good working condition.
• Communication: Coordinating with other departments such as production, logistics, and quality control to ensure smooth operations and timely delivery of goods.
• Problem-solving: Addressing any issues or concerns that arise in the warehouse and implementing solutions to improve efficiency and effectiveness.

Education and Experience Profile

• Bachelor’s or Associate's degree preferred
• -Combination of education and experience (3-5 years)
• 3+ years of Supervisory experience.
• SAP S4HANA experience strongly preferred.

Required Skills

• Strong computer skills including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook and SAP
• Strong mathematical ability
• Strong organization skills
• Excellent attention to detail
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to comprehend and follow written and verbal instructions.
• Ability to work independently with minimum supervision.
• Able to operator a forklift.
• Be a team player!

Work Environment

• 50% Manufacturing/Warehouse
• 50% Office
• Schedule is 4 on 4 off, overnights
• Willingness to work OT and weekends when necessary.
