Senior Title Processor – Minimum 5 Years Experience Required
We are seeking an experienced, detail-oriented, and highly organized Senior Title Processor to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in title processing and demonstrate an in-depth understanding of real estate settlements, mortgage servicing, and industry regulations.
In this role, you will be responsible for managing the preparation, review, and processing of all title-related documents for residential and commercial real estate transactions. You will serve as a key point of contact for clients, lenders, agents, and underwriters—ensuring accuracy, compliance, and a seamless closing experience from contract to post-closing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review contracts, title commitments, and lender instructions to prepare title documents and closing packages
- Coordinate with lenders, buyers, sellers, real estate agents, and underwriters to ensure all transaction requirements are met
- Clear title issues by researching liens, judgments, and other encumbrances
- Prepare and balance CDs and ALTA Settlement Statements
- Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations, including TILA, RESPA, and FNMA guidelines
- Maintain accurate records and manage files in accordance with company policies and industry standards
- Provide exceptional communication and customer service throughout the transaction process
- Oversee disbursements, funding, and post-closing follow-up as needed
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in title processing or real estate settlement
- Strong knowledge of title insurance practices and real estate closing procedures
- Familiarity with financial services, mortgage servicing, and regulatory frameworks such as TILA and FNMA
- Proficiency in title production software, preferably Qualia; experience with similar platforms such as SoftPro, RamQuest, or ResWare is also valued
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to manage multiple files and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
- Notary Public license (or willingness to obtain)
