Insight Global is looking for multiple ESE Teachers. In this role, you will help students meet challenging standards and fulfill state and local achievement requirements. You'll teach using prescribed materials and technology-based instruction, maintain accurate records, and submit necessary reports. You'll adhere to all laws and school policies, manage school property, administer medication as needed, and report absences. Upholding ethical standards and enforcing the Code of Student Conduct are key responsibilities. You'll support the district's Equity Plan, attend professional development sessions, and manage IEPs, BIPs, and EPs. Additionally, you'll collect and report progress data, develop IEP goals, participate in staffing, support general education teachers, maintain confidentiality, and perform other duties as assigned by the Principal or Administrator. Required Skills & Experience Bachelor’s Degree or higher in an educational field or the equivalent as defined by Florida Administrative Code (FAC) 6A-1.0503 Hold or is eligible to hold a valid Florida Educator Certificate in Exceptional Student Education or equivalent as defined by FAC 6A-4.01795 Endorsements in the following areas as appropriate (dependent on class composition): Autism Spectrum Disorder (FAC 6A-4.01796), Gifted (FAC 6A-4.01791), Orientation and Mobility (FAC 6A-4.01794), Pre-K Disabilities (FAC 6A-4.01792), Severe or Profound Disabilities (FAC 6A-4.01793), Reading (6A-4.0163) For teachers in Separate Class Emotional/Behavioral Disabilities (SC/EBD), EBD Separate School, Multi and ASD programs, hold or is eligible to hold certification in Non-Violent Crisis Intervention or equivalent Demonstrates competence in administrative and supervisory requirements (FAC 6B-5.003), the techniques to analyze the needs and potential of individuals (FAC 6B-5.004), instructional procedures (FAC 6B-5.005), communication skills (FAC 6B-5.006), and student management techniques (FAC 6B-5.007) Demonstrates knowledge within the area of specialization to a degree consistent with the educator's professional preparation (FAC 6B-5.008) Demonstrates competence in the techniques used to evaluate learning and goal achievement (FAC 6B-5.009) and human and interpersonal relations skills (FAC 6B-5.010) Demonstrate the ability to engage in physical activity appropriate to the required task, except for temporary disability (FAC 6B-5.011) and to communicate effectively to accomplish the required task (FAC 6B-5.011) Ability to exhibit appropriate control of emotions (FAC 6B-5.011) Ability to perform required tasks with sufficient intellectual ability (FAC 6B-5.011) Ability to attend staff meetings and in-service training as needed Expertise in specially designed instruction, collaborative practices, differentiated curriculum and instruction, and classroom management Expertise in assessment, data analysis and the use of date to drive instruction Remain current in instructional initiatives, research and best practices
