Elite Retirement Group is seeking a detail-oriented and client-focused Tax Preparer to join our growing financial services firm in Plover, Wisconsin. Key Responsibilities: Tax Preparation & Filing:

• Prepare individual and business tax returns, ensuring accuracy and compliance with federal and state regulations.
• Review financial documents, deductions, and credits to optimize client tax outcomes.
• Ensure timely and accurate filing of personal income tax returns, small business tax filings, and retirement-related tax documents.

Client Tax Strategy & Planning:

• Collaborate with financial advisors to incorporate tax-efficient strategies into clients' overall financial plans.
• Advise clients on tax-saving opportunities, Roth conversions, and other tax strategies.
• Assist with tax planning related to retirement withdrawals, estate planning, and investment portfolios.

Client Service & Relationship Management:

• Serve as a trusted tax resource for the firm’s financial planning clients.
• Communicate proactively with clients to gather necessary tax documents and explain tax concepts.
• Develop and maintain long-term client relationships through exceptional service and proactive guidance.

Compliance & Recordkeeping:

• Maintain accurate client tax records and documentation for compliance and audit purposes.
• Stay current on federal and state tax laws, IRS regulations, and industry best practices.
• Ensure all tax filings adhere to legal and ethical standards.

Qualifications:

Required:

• Experience preparing personal and/or business tax returns.
• Strong knowledge of federal and state tax laws.
• Proficiency in tax preparation software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Strong communication skills and a client-first approach.

Preferred :

• Enrolled Agent (EA), CPA, or other tax-related designation.
• Experience in financial services, wealth management, or retirement planning.
• Familiarity with Roth conversions, capital gains tax, estate tax planning, and small business taxation.
