Position: Junior Systems Administrator

We are looking for a motivated and technically skilled individual to join our Telecom and Data Networks team as a Junior Systems Administrator. This role is ideal for someone with a strong foundation in telecom or data networking, excellent customer service skills, and a problem-solving mindset. You’ll play a critical role in providing support to telecom customers while contributing to the security and operational stability of our data network infrastructure. This position also offers on-the-job training, making it a great opportunity for those looking to grow into more advanced network administration roles.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and resolve incoming tickets for telecom and basic network issues using ServiceNow, ensuring service levels are consistently met.
• Coordinate quarterly security reviews for network infrastructure, including edge switches, firewalls, and data center equipment, from initiation to closure.
• Support customers with the setup, configuration, and troubleshooting of hosted Voice over IP (VoIP) phone services.
• Participate in the on-call rotation to provide timely assistance to the Telecom and Data Networks team.
• Configure and provide guidance for phone systems, including routing adjustments, recording holiday greetings, and supporting call center operations.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Familiarity with Avaya phone systems is a plus.
• Experience with Cisco and/or Aruba network infrastructure is highly desirable.
• Strong customer service orientation with the ability to communicate effectively.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
