SUBSTANCE USE DISORDER TREATMENT PROGRAM TRAINER (CADC, CAADC)POSITION SUMMARY:

The Substance Use Disorder Program Trainer will be a highly skilled substance use counselor with a training background. 

SUBSTANCE USE DISORDER TREATMENT PROGRAM TRAINER (CADC, CAADC)ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Developing, overseeing, and facilitating a training program for DDOC substance use counselors and mental health therapists
• Providing onsite training and staff orientation
• Planning and delivering advanced training courses and workshops
• Providing expert guidance on complex training matters
• Promoting the use of training resources to enhance individual growth and organizational effectiveness

SUBSTANCE USE DISORDER TREATMENT PROGRAM TRAINER (CADC, CAADC)MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• Must have a minimum of two years of experience working in a Therapeutic Community environment. Candidates without two years of TC environment may be considered on a case-by-case basis.
• Must have a substance use certification (i.e., CADC, CAADC), or must be actively working towards attaining a substance use certification and must obtain the certificate within two years of hire.
• Bachelor's degree in social work, counseling psychology, or other similar degree.
