We are seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant with a strong focus on account reconciliations. This role will report directly to the Controller & CFO and play a key part in supporting the accounting department by ensuring accuracy and integrity of financial data.
Job Location: LabWare HQ in Wilmington DE
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform daily, monthly, and quarterly reconciliations of general ledger accounts, including cash, bank, credit cards, and balance sheet accounts.
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
• Prepare and maintain schedules supporting account balances.
• Assist with month-end and year-end close processes.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure proper coding and recording of transactions.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
• 3–5 years of accounting experience, preferably with reconciliation responsibilities.
• Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, etc.) and MS Excel.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple deadlines.
Preferred Skills: NetSuite experience a plus
