Calling all college and graduate students seeking real-world sports industry experience! We want you here in Grand Island for a hands-on internship that provides you with a tremendous opportunity to experience the sales and operations side of summer baseball.

The Diamond Baseball League (DBL) is a professional-grade collegiate summer baseball league which will begin play in 2026. The League has secured its six inaugural markets in Kansas, Missouri, and Nebraska.

Our interns are the heart and soul of an amazing fan experience. Our Spring internships provide interns with the opportunity to engage in sales opportunities and help create the fan experience. Our interns positively impact the Grand Island community, our varied fanbase, our host families, and sponsors. As an intern, you will develop and own projects throughout the pre-season with your cohorts and full-time staff!

Qualified Interns Will Engage In Many Tasks Over The Course Of The Semester. You Will Assist In All Areas Of Sales, And The Set-up Of Pre-game And Game-day Operations. These Are Not Limited To And Include

  • Social Media
  • Food and Beverage
  • Event Planning
  • Stadium Operations
  • Promotions
  • Graphic Design

To qualify and join this exciting team atmosphere, interns must receive college credit for the internship, have at least a 2.7GPA, and submit a letter of recommendation from a current or former professor.

  • This internship is only available to college-level students, both undergraduate and graduate students, who receive college credit for this internship as compensation. The internship is on-site in Grand Island, NE.
  • Spring Term: January 26 through May 1, 2026.
