Job Description

Day to Day:

Insight Global has multiple openings for therapists to work on-site in Tucson for one of the largest inpatient facilities in the country. Each person hired will be responsible for individual evaluations and therapy sessions focused on activities of daily living (ADL) retraining, such as helping patients with bathing, dressing, and other essential tasks. Therapists also facilitate group activities to encourage social interaction and recreational therapy. Throughout the day, they will provide emotional support and counseling to help patients cope with their rehabilitation journey. The role includes documentation and team meetings to discuss patient progress and plan future treatments, ensuring a comprehensive approach to patient care. In each eight-hour shift – all therapists can expect to have the following structure:

7 hours of direct patient care

• 6 hours will be individual sessions
• 1 hour will be 2 patients or group therapy
• 1 hour documentation

As previously stated, this role will work closely with many departments to perform various care tasks as well as heavy interactions leveraging Microsoft Teams Channels that include therapists, nurses, case managers and physicians. A laptop will be provided for this role.

REQUIRED

• Any years of experience are accepted for this role however;
• Must have current licensure or certification required by the state of Arizona
• SLP should have successful completion of SLP CCC (Certification of Clinical Competence)
• Active CPR Certification
• Must renew within 30 days if offered
• Experience evaluating, assessing, developing, and administering personalized treatment plans for patients with rehabilitation needs

PREFERRED

• Experience in an inpatient rehab environment, school/ student experience included
• Rehab experience within Neuro – spinal cord, brain etc
• Master’s degree
