The Senior Solution or Integration Architect for Enterprise Architecture in Digital Banking will be responsible for defining and executing architectural strategies that support digital transformation within our credit union. With extensive experience in the banking domain, this role will lead the development of scalable, secure, and compliant digital solutions, ensuring alignment with business goals, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices. This role is ideal for a seasoned architect with a deep understanding of banking, digital transformation, and enterprise-level solution design for integration using Salesforce, MuleSoft, COTS products etc.
Key Responsibilities:
Enterprise Architecture Alignment : The architect should align with enterprise architecture standards set by EACOE team and provide solution architecture and design for various projects.
Solution Architecture Leadership : Design complex, scalable, and secure digital banking solutions, leveraging industry best practices, emerging technologies, and enterprise architecture frameworks.
Cross-functional Collaboration : Work closely with executive leadership, business units, IT teams, and external vendors to understand business requirements, assess current-state architectures, and drive digital transformation initiatives. The role should be able to understand the business pain points, opportunity and business outcomes to arrive at the right solution for the projects.
Regulatory and Security Compliance : Establish secure and compliant digital banking solutions that prioritize data privacy and security in adherence with EACOE standards.
Technology Integration : Lead the seamless integration of core banking systems, CRM platforms (Salesforce experience preferred), and third-party FinTech solutions, optimizing data flows and enhancing digital member engagement.
Innovation and Industry Expertise : Drive adoption of new technologies in digital banking, analyze market trends to bring in the right solution for the problem statement.
Leadership and Mentorship : Provide thought leadership and mentorship to architecture and development teams, fostering best practices in enterprise and solution architecture across the credit union.
Qualifications:
Education : Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
Experience :
• 15+ years of experience in solution architecture, with a substantial portion of experience in digital banking or financial services.
• Demonstrated expertise in a senior architecture role, designing and implementing large-scale enterprise solutions for banking or financial institutions.
Technical Expertise :
• Proficient in enterprise architecture frameworks and solution design patterns, including microservices, SOA, event-driven architecture, and cloud-native architectures.
• Strong understanding of digital banking security, encryption, and compliance standards, including PCI-DSS and PII protection.
Salesforce Experience : Experience with Salesforce (Financial Services Cloud), MuleSoft is an added advantage, particularly with CRM integration in digital banking ecosystems. The role is expected to learn Salesforce space on the job.
Business Acumen :
• Comprehensive knowledge of banking industry trends, digital transformation, and regulatory environments affecting credit unions.
• Ability to align complex business needs with strategic architecture solutions, ensuring scalability, resilience, and compliance.
Soft Skills :
• Strategic mindset with proven experience in translating business goals into actionable enterprise architectures.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, able to articulate architectural concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong leadership and mentoring capabilities, fostering a collaborative, high-performance culture.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Enterprise architecture certifications (e.g., TOGAF, Zachman) and cloud certifications (AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect Expert).
• Knowledge of credit union-specific regulations, including UDAAP, Truth in Savings, and member data protection standards.
Pay and Benefits
Pay Range Minimum: $76,000 per year
Pay Range Maximum: $153,300 per year

A candidate’s pay within the range will depend on their skills, experience, education, and other factors permitted by law. This role may also be eligible for performance-based bonuses subject to company policies.
