Job Title: Smart Hands Technician

Location: Everett, WA (Onsite)

Duration: 6+ month extendable contract

Experience required

Fiber Clean up is needed in the Everett Plant. over 200 cables need traced. this will need to be done in a production environment.

Project Details: Project is involving tracing 200+ cables, performing fiber cleanup, and operating within a live production environment requires a carefully scoped plan to ensure zero disruption to services.

Job Requirements:

• Must have experience with rack and stack, and cabling activities as needed
• Accurately trace 200+ cables end-to-end (labeling, port identification)
• 3+ years of experience as a Smart Hands Technician or similar role
• Will perform site surveys, confirm, and QA that network solutions deployed match customer standards that reside within the design configuration, and leverage standardized and approved automation for deployments.
• Document connection points (patch panel, switch, etc.)
• Visually inspect fibers using a fiber scope
• Ensure all fiber patches are secure, dust-free, and within bend radius guidelines.
• Update or create a cable map and port documentation.
• Individuals need to be highly communicative, at tentative, responsible, and reliable
• Reliable transportation is a must
