PRIMARY FUNCTIONS

The primary functions include ensuring that all processing requirements of the part have been met before preparing the parts for shipping through packaging and preparation of shipping documentation, receiving and delivering all incoming products and managing product to and from our outside processing suppliers

QUALIFICATIONS:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each of the Major Responsibilities, including the following:

• Reviews the process router to ensure all previous processes have been completed.
• Examines the lot, i.e. counting, magnet checking, and reviewing serialization of parts.
• Verifies customer specific shipping requirements, i.e. method of shipping as well as packaging requirements.
• Creates and reviews product shipping documentation, i.e Delivery note
• Packages parts for shipment.
• Generates shipping labels and/or other shipping documentation, i.e. bill of lading, customs documentation, etc.
• Schedules pickups and drop offs of product ready to ship.
• Retrieves parts from stock as well as putting excess parts to stock.
• Maintain accurate finished goods and semi-finished goods inventory.
• Understands ISO policies, procedures and work instructions.
• Create purchase orders and receipts for outside processing suppliers.
• Works with shipping companies such as FedEx, UPS, Yellow Roadway, DB Schenker, etc.
• Load and unloads trucks
• Inspect, receive and deliver all incoming deliveries
• Other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

High School diploma or GED. Shipping and/or receiving experience preferred.

Forklift experience preferred

Experience working with ERP software

Experience using MS Office, i.e. excel and word

LANGUAGE SKILLS:

• Good communication skills.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret, operating instructions, work instructions, customer supplied procedures, and routers.

REASONING ABILITY:

• Ability to define problems and draw valid conclusions.
• Ability to interpret technique cards and or technical instructions.
