Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Shipping and Receiving Associate to join our team in Tampa, Florida. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating incoming and outgoing shipments, verifying inventory, and maintaining accurate records. The ideal candidate has prior experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment and is committed to ensuring timely and accurate handling of materials.

Key Responsibilities:

• Receive incoming shipments and inspect goods for damage, accuracy, and quality
• Prepare and package outgoing shipments according to company standards
• Load and unload trucks using forklifts, pallet jacks, or other warehouse equipment
• Maintain and update shipping and receiving logs and documentation
• Work closely with production and inventory teams to ensure timely flow of materials
• Label, tag, and store items in appropriate locations
• Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area
• Report discrepancies or issues with shipments to the appropriate departments

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required
• 1+ year of experience in shipping, receiving, or warehouse operations (manufacturing experience preferred)
• Forklift certification or willingness to become certified
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with inventory management systems
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods

Work Environment:

This position is based in a manufacturing warehouse setting and may involve exposure to varying temperatures, noise, and machinery.
