Reports To: Service Manager

Salary: $75,000 - $95,000 + Full Benefits

What You’ll Do:

• Repair and service customer-returned components, equipment, and vehicles.
• Commission and test new vehicles to ensure optimal performance.
• Work closely with customers to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in person, via email, or over the phone.
• Act as a liaison between the service department and our design engineers in Germany to implement product improvements.
• Develop and refine testing procedures, troubleshooting strategies, and service processes to enhance efficiency and reliability.
• Conduct hardware and software evaluations on new products before distribution in the US market.
• Assist with on-site repairs and training as needed, including occasional travel.
• Maintain accurate service records and documentation within our ERP / Service software system.

What We’re Looking For:

• Education: BSEE/BSEET preferred; associate degree in electronics or equivalent experience required.
• Experience: At least 1 year in electronic design, test engineering, or a related field.
• Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of digital, analog, and software design; familiarity with IEEE-488 and RS232 interfacing.
• Problem-Solving Abilities: Analytical mindset with a hands-on approach to troubleshooting.
• Customer Service Skills: Ability to work directly with customers in a professional and empathetic manner.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.; must pass a background check and drug test.
• Additional Requirements: Valid driver’s license and passport for potential travel; proficiency in Microsoft Office applications; CAD experience is a plus.
