Job Description

We’re looking for a talented and experienced Senior Graphic Designer to be part of a fast-growing, Atlanta-based ad agency that specializes in home improvement clients and ESG. Ideally, you will be a seasoned pro with agency experience and experience in retail, packaging, and merchandising design . You’ll work collaboratively across multifunctional teams to produce a wide variety of both print and digital solutions for our clients. You won’t just do work – you’ll impact our clients’ businesses and brands. This will be a mix of concept, design and production that’ll have you involved from start to finish on most projects, resulting in progressive, sophisticated, and appropriate designs and other amazing work. You must be agile and creative with an outstanding attention to detail. You will also play an important role in leading our team of graphic designers.

Responsibilities

  • Create graphic design solutions for print and digital design including, but not limited to, packaging, POP, websites, infographics, social media and marketing material for multiple clients
  • Think critically during strategic brainstorming sessions to ground creative decisions in the strategic directions that are established by the account services teams
  • Consistently design at a high level to create rough creative concepts early on in the process and revise/change those concepts as needed without sacrificing any creative integrity
  • Be able to produce computer files and/or mechanicals necessary to finalize materials
  • Work individually or with other designers, illustrators, and other creative personnel to produce layouts and design elements for creative concepts in various mediums, including interactive media, but also be a part of complex design assignments with minimal guidance
  • Have a wide variety of computer, technical and creative skills
  • Present ideas both internally to peers and externally to clients
  • Work with peers, illustrators, photographers, printers and other personnel during the creative process to ensure deliverables stay on time and within budget
  • Stay a student of the industry and keep informed of current trends, technology, styles, etc. to continually hone your skill set and promote necessary improvements to the agency’s current tools/processes
  • Be willing to jump in and help out other individuals/teams when needed

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of graphic design or production experience
  • Minimum of a 2-year degree in Advertising, Communications or Graphic Design
  • Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite programs including InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop; XD and After Effects
  • Experience with Strata , AtriosCAD , Esko , Cinema 4D preferred
  • Familiarity with the 4-color printing process
  • Agency experience preferred
  • Strong conceptual skills, attention to detail, accuracy and thoroughness
  • Excellent graphic design, layout and typography skills
  • Capability to work well with team members, clients and vendors, providing rationale for design choices
  • Ability to handle and effectively prioritize multiple projects simultaneously and adjust to inevitable changes in timelines, deadlines and project goals in a fast-paced environment
  • A focus on executing clients’ objectives and strategies; demonstrate a sense of urgency yet remain calm under pressure
  • A portfolio of work with a wide range of creative projects
  • High standards of integrity and confidentiality; be able to adjust to multiple demands while achieving challenging objectives with intelligence and analysis
  • Eagerness to pursue additional learning and self-development
  • Experience managing others is a plus

We are currently on a hybrid schedule of three days (Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday) in the office and two days (Thursday and Friday) remote work from home.
