Job Summary:

Security Officers ensure that all areas of the resort are in order and undisturbed and that  the resort remains free of safety hazards. Officers ensure the safety of our guests and engage in constant public and guest relations. Officers will have contact with many county services such as Fire Department, Local and State Police


Job Specifications: 

  • Starting Wage: $20.00/hr - $22.92/hr
  • Employment Type: Winter Seasonal 2025/2026 
  • Shift Type: Temporary Help hours available
  • Minimum Age: At least 18 years of age 
  • Housing Availability: No 


Job Responsibilities:

  • Patrol front and back of house areas, reporting any breach of security-to-security Manager  and/or security supervisor.
  • Process incident reports and communicate accordingly.
  • Performs guest and employee services such as opening building doors, and vehicle  assistance.
  • Perform vehicle patrols of parking lots and all outer buildings of the resort.
  • Performs foot patrols and reports on unsafe conditions, fire hazards, and security issues.
  • Conducts investigations when directed concerning Accident, Employee, and/or Security  Incidents on property.
  • Ensure proper procedures for keys and radios.
  • Maintains log of monthly inspections of fire and life safety systems.
  • Other duties as assigned


Job Qualifications:

  • Valid Driver's License and clean driving record
  • At least 2 years of formal Resort Security experience - preferred
  • At least 2 years hospitality guest service experience preferably in a resort setting- preferred
  • Must have knowledge and experience dealing with emergencied
  • Knowledge of security processes - preferred
  • Able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
  • Able to be on your feet for up to 8 hours and work in inclement weather
  • Strong communication skills, able to work with a diversity of staff and guests
  • Willingness to work flexible schedule including weekend and holidays
  • Complete all assigned training
  • Any and all other duties assigned

The expected pay range is $20.00/hr - $22.92/hr. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
