Security Guard FT

Summary

Provides Security for the Resort residents and reports fires, theft, vandalism and illegal entry by performing the following duties.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Patrols, periodically, buildings and grounds of the Resort.
• Examines doors, windows, buildings and gates to determine that they are secure.
• Warns violators of rule infractions, such as traffic violations or excessive noise, investigate and notify Cocopah Police Department of persons engaging in suspicious or criminal acts.
• Watches for and reports irregularities such as fire hazards, leaking water pipes, and security doors left unlocked.
• Permits authorized persons to enter property.
• Registers at guard shack to record time of inspection trips.
• Records data such as property damage and unusual occurrences.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Must be able to walk for longer periods of time.
• Must be able to communicate properly with Cocopah Police dispatch.
• Good judgement is required regularly.
• Must be able to provide exceptional customer service.

Qualifications

Education and/or Experience

• High School Diploma/GED is preferred, 
• 2-year work experience in related field.
• Some experience in security preferred.
• Current valid Arizona Driver's License
