Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Guard to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This position requires a proactive individual who is capable of responding to incidents, monitoring surveillance equipment, and enforcing security protocols.

Duties

• Monitor and patrol assigned areas to ensure safety and security.
• Must possess excellent communication, verbal and written skills.
• Respond promptly to alarms and incidents, assessing situations and taking appropriate action.
• Enforce rules and regulations to maintain order within the premises.
• Provide assistance during emergencies, including administering CPR and first aid when necessary.
• Collaborate with law enforcement agencies as required in case of incidents or investigations.
• Document daily activities, incidents, and observations in detailed reports.
• Engage in conflict management to de-escalate potentially volatile situations.
• Participate in training sessions to stay updated on security protocols and best practices.
• Must be available to begin work on February 1st, 2025.
• MUST HAVE A GUARD CARD PRIOR TO JANUARY 1ST, 2025 OR BE IN GOOD STANDING TO OBTAIN ONE.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in law enforcement or security is preferred but not mandatory.
• Certification in CPR and First Aid is highly desirable.
• Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
• Excellent observational skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour
