Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Guard to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This position requires a proactive individual who is capable of responding to incidents, monitoring surveillance equipment, and enforcing security protocols.

Duties

Monitor and patrol assigned areas to ensure safety and security.
Must possess excellent communication, verbal and written skills.
Respond promptly to alarms and incidents, assessing situations and taking appropriate action.
Enforce rules and regulations to maintain order within the premises.
Provide assistance during emergencies, including administering CPR and first aid when necessary.
Collaborate with law enforcement agencies as required in case of incidents or investigations.
Document daily activities, incidents, and observations in detailed reports.
Engage in conflict management to de-escalate potentially volatile situations.
Participate in training sessions to stay updated on security protocols and best practices.
Must be available to begin work on February 1st, 2025.
MUST HAVE A GUARD CARD PRIOR TO JANUARY 1ST, 2025 OR BE IN GOOD STANDING TO OBTAIN ONE.

Qualifications

Previous experience in law enforcement or security is preferred but not mandatory.
Certification in CPR and First Aid is highly desirable.
Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
Excellent observational skills with attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour
