Our Placement Process - How It Works: - Interview with Jovie:
We'll start by learning more about you! During your interview, we'll discuss your childcare experience, the ages of children you enjoy working with, your ideal work schedule, and the type of nanny positions you're looking for.
- Reference Checks:
Once the interview is complete, we'll check three of your childcare references to verify your experience and ensure you're a great fit for our families.
- Crafting Your Jovie Resume:
We'll help you put together a professional resume highlighting your childcare experience, skills, and personality. This resume will be shared with our local placement families who are seeking nannies for their open positions.
- Join Our Pool of Nanny Applicants:
After completing the interview and reference check process, you'll join our pool of nanny applicants. From there, you'll be considered for any of our open positions, whether they're full-time or part-time roles, that fit your preferences.
- Matching with Families:
When a new family joins our placement services, we'll reach out to see if you're interested in their specific position. If you are, we'll share your resume with the family and help arrange interviews so you can meet them and learn more about the opportunity.

Qualifications :
- Previous experience working with nanny families
- Strong references from recent nanny positions
- Reliable transportation and a clean driving record
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Background check clearance

Pay: We encourage families to offer competitive market rates for the Greater Seattle area, typically ranging from $30 to $40 per hour.
**All applicants must first interview with a Jovie specialist. Qualifying applicants will meet the family prior to being hired.
