  • Position Summary:

    We are seeking an SAP Business Process Specialist to lead the evaluation and continuous improvement of supply chain business processes across our organization. This role will serve as the functional process owner for SAP within supply chain operations—ensuring that the SAP system is fully optimized, aligned with strategic goals, and integrated seamlessly with business practices across multiple modules.

    The ideal candidate will have strong expertise across key SAP modules —particularly in SCM, MM, OTC, SD, MRP, and APO (IBP is a plus)—and a deep understanding of how these modules interconnect to support core supply chain functions like purchasing, planning, forecasting, and fulfillment.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Act as the SAP process owner within the Supply Chain organization, ensuring that system functionality effectively supports current and future business processes.
    • Lead business process evaluations to identify gaps, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement across SAP-supported functions.
    • Collaborate cross-functionally with stakeholders in purchasing, planning, forecasting, and distribution to define, prioritize, and implement process enhancements.
    • Understand and map SAP integration points across MM, SD, OTC, MRP, and APO/IBP to optimize end-to-end supply chain workflows.
    • Work closely with technical teams to support configuration, functional specs, and debugging when needed—ability to bridge business and IT.
    • Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation of business processes, process flows, and functional requirements.
    • Facilitate workshops and working sessions with business users and SAP stakeholders.
    • Monitor and measure the success of implemented improvements and manage continuous improvement efforts.

    Qualifications:

    • 4+ years of experience working with SAP in a business process, functional analyst, or similar role within a supply chain or manufacturing environment.
    • Strong working knowledge of SAP SCM, MM, OTC, SD, MRP, and APO; IBP experience is a strong plus.
    • Proven ability to evaluate, document, and improve complex business processes across supply chain operations.
    • Familiarity with technical SAP aspects such as basic configuration, debugging, and working with development teams is a plus.
    • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills—this role interfaces with teams across purchasing, logistics, planning, and IT.
    • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
    • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Information Systems, or related field
