Job Description

Responsible for overseeing and driving all sales activities within residential roofing and exterior operations, including leading a sales team of 7 project coordinators, a working knowledge of metrics and price management, navigating high level customer issues, working closely with both the Scheduling and Accounting Departments, along with our production team, while maintaining a strong understanding of roofing products and industry regulations.

Key Responsibilities

Sales Team Leadership:

• Build a high-performing sales team through training and education with ongoing coaching and mentorship to improve sales skills and techniques.
• Strong sales skills including persuasive communication, presentation abilities and objection handling
• Work on initiative projects, new markets, new divisions

Sales Strategy and Pipeline Development:

• Manage and track sales, identify opportunities with timely follow-ups
• Monitor sales activity and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement

Customer Acquisition and Management:

• Collaborate with other departments to ensure a smooth customer experience
• Navigating high level customer concerns and issues

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Proven experience in outside sales
• Strong understanding of roof systems, repair techniques and industry regulations
• 5+ years' of sales experience
• Day to day operations experience in roofing, siding, gutters, windows
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
