Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and monitor site-specific safety plans and programs.
• Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to identify hazards and ensure compliance.
• Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses; prepare reports and recommend corrective actions.
• Provide safety training and education to all employees, subcontractors, and site visitors.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA standards and other regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with project managers, superintendents, and other stakeholders to promote a culture of safety.
• Maintain records of safety activities, inspections, training, and incident reports.
• Lead safety meetings, toolbox talks, and emergency drills.
• Manage incident response and coordinate with medical personnel when necessary.
• Recommend and enforce disciplinary actions for safety violations.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Safety Manager or similar role in construction.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and construction safety standards.
• OSHA 30-hour Construction Safety Certification or equivalent.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to analyze and resolve safety issues effectively.
• Strong organizational and record-keeping abilities.
• Degree or certification in Occupational Health and Safety or related field preferred.
