A well-established residential roofing contractor in the Sacramento region is seeking an experienced Roofing Field Manager to oversee daily field operations across multiple projects.

This role is ideal for a hands-on leader with strong roofing knowledge who can manage crews, maintain safety standards, and deliver quality work from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities

• Schedule roofing projects and monitor weather conditions to reduce risk and liability
• Supervise multiple job sites, roofing crews, and subcontractors
• Perform pre-job and post-job inspections to ensure quality and scope compliance
• Manage project budgets and evaluate change orders
• Conduct dry rot inspections and identify necessary repairs
• Set up and maintain safe, compliant job sites
• Lead weekly safety meetings and crew training
• Communicate daily with homeowners regarding project status
• Prepare repair estimates and perform repairs as needed
• Coordinate with office staff on material ordering and scheduling
• Review and approve field payroll

Qualifications

• 5+ years of supervisory experience in residential roofing
• Strong knowledge of composition, tile, TPO, torch-down, and flat roofing systems
• Experience with repair estimating and jobsite problem-solving
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
• Proficiency with Excel and basic tracking tools
• Conversational Spanish preferred
• Valid driver’s license required
• Flexible availability, including occasional evenings or weekends
