Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Commercial Roofing Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a background in construction, engineering, or a related field, with experience in commercial roofing estimation being a plus. This role requires strong analytical skills, the ability to read blueprints, and excellent communication to provide accurate project estimates and proposals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review project plans, specifications, and other documentation to prepare accurate cost estimates for roofing projects.
• Perform takeoffs and material quantity analysis to determine project costs.
• Develop and submit detailed bids and proposals to clients.
• Collaborate with project managers and contractors to gather necessary data for estimates.
• Analyze blueprints, drawings, and other construction documents.
• Monitor changes in project scope and adjust estimates accordingly.
• Ensure timely and accurate completion of all estimates and bids.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of roofing materials, pricing, and industry trends

Preferred Qualifications & Skills:

• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in commercial roofing as either an estimator, project manager, or field personnel.
• Proficiency in  roofing software (e.g. Bluebeam or equivalent) and  Google Office (Sheets, Docs, etc.).
• Strong knowledge of  roofing materials and  construction methods .
• Ability to read and interpret  blueprints, construction drawings , and  specifications .
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and cost optimization.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
