Title: Digital Graphic Designer – Freelance

Location: Onsite 5 days a week at our NYC HQ

Duration: 2 weeks – 2+ months

Start Date: Immediately

Salary: $30-35/hour

Summary:

We are searching for a strong digital graphic designer and retoucher with previous experience in fashion or footwear. The role is heavily focused on retouching photos in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop as well as working in Figma.

The ideal candidate for this position has strong time management and organizational skills that can balance speed and attention to detail while hitting deadlines. This position also requires vision, process coordination, collaboration, and organization.

Responsibilities:

• Partner with the creative team members to create relevant, powerful graphic solutions to a variety of marketing campaigns and customer experiences including print, photography, visual, and special projects.
• Work alongside the creative team to help with concept and implementation of all digital assets for ecomm, site updates, brand campaigns, SMS, product drops, marketing, emails, paid ads, etc.
• Extensive retouching and editing of all photography assets.
• Use Figma and existing templates to build emails and ads.
• Resize and prepare all images for shopify.
• Adhere to timelines and ensure deliverables are prioritized to hit deadlines.
• Elevate the image of the brand through design while considering budgets and timeframes.
• Interface, collaborate, and build partnerships with other functional areas to gain information and better understanding of their marketing and design needs.
• Maintain absolute accuracy and attention to detail throughout the creative and production process.
• Be proactive at solving problems. Incorporate feedback, give and receive direction well.
• Self-manage work within established timelines and proactively share designs/solutions with team.
• May attend or assist with photoshoots for still shots and lifestyle photography assets to be utilized in graphic design content.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in Fine Art, Design or Marketing
• 2+ years of experience
• Experience in Figma, InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop
• Team player
• Strong conceptual and typographic skills
• High energy level and a passion for their work
• Demonstrate ability and willingness to be flexible for business needs
