Job Title: Renovations Field Manager

Location : Chattanooga, TN

Position Overview

The Renovations Field Manager plays a critical role in ensuring renovation and tenant turn projects are completed on time, within budget, and to scope. This field-based role requires strong construction knowledge, leadership, and coordination skills. You'll manage subcontractors, oversee job quality, and keep projects on track across our Chattanooga market.

You’ll use a combination of our proprietary operating system and intuitive construction software such as SiteCapture, Buildertrend, and RenoWalk to manage tasks, capture job data, and communicate progress with the team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the execution of residential renovation and tenant turn projects from start to finish.
  • Perform on-site assessments, scope creation, and estimating.
  • Manage and coordinate subcontractors to meet scope, timeline, and quality standards.
  • Enforce job site safety, cleanliness, and compliance with local codes and regulations.
  • Proactively identify risks or delays and take corrective action to keep projects moving.
  • Maintain accurate, up-to-date records and reports via our internal systems and software tools.
  • Communicate clearly and frequently with clients, vendors, and internal corporate teams.
  • Build strong, collaborative relationships to ensure smooth project delivery and client satisfaction.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in residential construction, project management, or renovations.
  • Hands-on knowledge of trades including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general carpentry.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects independently and solve problems in the field.
  • Experience with construction management software (e.g., SiteCapture, Buildertrend, RenoWalk).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills; able to lead subcontractors and collaborate with internal teams.
  • Proficient with Outlook, Excel, and smartphone-based project tools.
  • Physically capable of walking job sites, climbing ladders, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Work Environment & Schedule

  • Field-based role with daily travel across assigned territory (Chattanooga).
  • Flexible schedule within standard business hours (8 AM – 5 PM), depending on project demands.
  • Must be comfortable in varied conditions—vacant homes, extreme temperatures, and occasional pest exposure.
