Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Remote File Clerk / Data Entry Clerk to join our team. This role plays a crucial part in maintaining accurate records and ensuring smooth data management processes. Key Objectives

As a Remote File Clerk / Data Entry Clerk, your main goal will be to accurately manage, organize, and update files and data to support team productivity and data integrity. Your work will directly impact the accessibility and reliability of important information across the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Organize, sort, and maintain electronic and physical files in an efficient and accessible manner.
  • Accurately input and update data into company databases and systems in a timely fashion.
  • Verify data for accuracy and completeness, identifying and correcting errors as needed.
  • Assist with scanning, uploading, and indexing documents to ensure proper digital filing.
  • Collaborate with team members to support data retrieval and reporting requests.
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information and adhere to data protection policies.
  • Perform routine quality checks on data and file organization to maintain standards.
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors and colleagues regarding data discrepancies or issues.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certifications in office administration or related fields is a plus.
  • Proven experience in data entry, file management, or administrative support roles preferred.
