Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Commercial Refrigeration Technician to join our team and service the Austin/San Antonio area. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in refrigeration systems. Knows how to troubleshoot walk-in coolers/freezers, reach-in coolers/freezers, ice machines, and beverage dispensers. This role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing refrigeration systems to ensure optimal performance and efficiency. The Refrigeration Technician will work closely with other service technicians and property maintenance teams to deliver high-quality service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, and repair refrigeration systems and related equipment.
• Diagnose issues and perform necessary repairs or replacements.
• Utilize tools such as multi-meter to test electrical components and troubleshoot problems.
• Collaborate with property maintenance teams to address refrigeration-related concerns.
• Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding repairs and maintenance.
• Document all service calls, repairs, and maintenance activities accurately.

Requirements:

• 3-5+ years of proven experience with commercial refrigeration systems.
• Experience with Ice Machine Maintenance.
• Experience with troubleshooting walk-In/reach-in coolers and freezers for a gas station, grocery store, or similar environment.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC/R principles and practices.
• Ability to design, plumb, and build refrigeration systems as needed.
• Ability to travel to client sites in both San Antonio/Austin TX.
• Valid driver's license is required for company vehicle.

Compensation: $30/hr to $40/hr + OT/Drivetime pay.
