Title: RF Test Engineer

• Need to work 2nd shift for several months continuously (Typically 1 PM – 10 PM)
Overview
Our client is seeking a Test Engineer to support on-site, 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shift test bench operations for the Assembly, Integration and Test (AI&T) of a production Space Payload program.
Responsibilities include:
• Executing test scripts for the verification of Software, Hardware, and System requirements for applications in Space.
• Understanding of RF (Radio Frequency) systems, especially RADAR, SIGINT, or COMMS,programming and scripting skills.
Required Skills & Experience
• BS in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math) or HS diploma with at least 4 years of relevant military experience with sensor systems, ideally RADAR, integration and test or operation and maintenance, or military control room console operator or defense industry work experience with sensor systems, ideally RADAR, integration and test or operation and maintenance.
Preferred Skills & Experience
• Working knowledge of RF test equipment (Signal Generators, Spectrum Analyzers, Oscilloscopes, Power Meters, etc.
• Experience with RADAR and/or ESA (Electronically Scanned Array) integration and test
• Experience with Space Payload or Space Vehicle (Satellite) integration and test in a clean room environment
• Programming in C or MATLAB for understanding and editing/improving existing code
• Scripting in Python or Tcl for understanding and editing/improving existing scripts
• Experience with Confluence, Jira, and Bitbucket
• TS or SCI for future opportunities.
