APEX Placement and Consulting has partnered with an exciting company in Three Rivers, MI looking to add a Project Manager to their already amazing team. Their primary responsibility will be to manage the launch of new parts, ensuring efficient production through cross-functional coordination, technical support, and continuous improvement. What your day will look like:

• Oversee the new part introduction and launch processes, ensuring timely and effective execution.
• Collaborate with customers and vendors to review product specifications and assess manufacturing feasibility.
• Develop and define project specifications, cost estimates, and equipment needs.
• Establish project timelines, procedures, and resource allocations for each project phase.
• Coordinate with cross-functional departments to align on production capabilities, scheduling, and quality procedures for efficient manufacturing.
• Manage and coordinate project team activities to ensure milestones are achieved on schedule and within budget.
• Lead troubleshooting efforts for process or vendor-related challenges, offering technical guidance to resolve issues.
• Generate status reports and revise project schedules or plans as necessary.
• Maintain and update database with process revisions and changes.
• Continuously evaluate parts for improvement opportunities to enhance quality and profitability.

What we are looking for:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent experience within an automotive-focused manufacturing environment.
• 2+ years of Project Manager experience
• Solid knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
• Proven experience interfacing directly with customers in a professional setting.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Proficient in JobBoss or similar MRP/ERP systems, with the ability to manage inputs such as bill of materials, routings, labor hours, and related data.
