Project Manager – Austin, TX

Alchemy Global Talent Solutions is looking for an experienced Project Manager to join a renowned furniture moving company in Austin, Texas. This hands-on position necessitates a sharp eye for detail, exceptional organizational abilities, and the ability to manage various duties in a fast-paced moving and relocation industry setting.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Serve as the principal point of contact for all project communications with clients and third-party vendors.
• Maintain professional client relationships and serve as the client's point of contact throughout the project's life cycle.
• Support the Account Manager (AM) during project site walkthroughs.
• Manage client approvals, sign-offs, and all formal project paperwork.
• Take field measurements as needed, such as before drawing development and pre-installation.
• Manage project scope, coordination, planning, and procurement while leading the project team.
• Schedule installations or relocation in accordance with the project scope and the client's move-in date.
• Check project sites, plans, and product specifications for accuracy and make sure all requirements are satisfied.
• Coordinate and manage communications between the client and all third-party firms, including contractors, electricians, cabling vendors, and other crafts.
• Ensure that projects are completed on schedule and within budget by attending project meetings, documenting client needs, and making crucial decisions.
• Identify and efficiently handle project challenges to ensure seamless execution.
• Maintain safety standards and compliance requirements throughout the project lifecycle.

What We’re Looking For:

• Previous experience with office furniture movement, logistics, or a related field is essential.
• Ideally has a bachelor's degree.
• Excellent verbal, writing, and organizing abilities.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer-service skills.
• Problem-solving abilities combined with the aptitude to face unusual difficulties.
• Microsoft Office proficiency (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
• The physical demands of the profession need the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
