JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Prepare and maintain project budgets, forecasts, and variance analyses.
• Monitor project costs and expenditures, ensuring alignment with budgetary constraints.
• Process accounts payable and receivable related to projects.
• Reconcile project-related accounts and prepare monthly financial statements.
• Generate and analyze financial reports for project managers and stakeholders.
• Provide insights on project performance, including profitability and cash flow.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting policies, and industry regulations.
• Assist in audits by preparing necessary documentation and reports.
• Work closely with project managers to understand financial requirements and project timelines.
• Provide financial guidance and support to project teams.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements in accounting practices.
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in project accounting.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor"s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 2+ years of experience in accounting, preferably in a manufacturing or project-based environment.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., ERP systems) and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• MBA, CMA or CPA or equivalent certification.
• Experience with job costing and project management accounting.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes and cost accounting principles.
• Experience with ERP systems; Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central experience
