Required Qualification(s):

• 5+ years of experience as a Product Owner in the banking sector.
• Strong understanding of banking products, including payments, lending, and digital banking solutions.
• Hands-on experience with Jira and Confluence for Agile project management.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced Agile environment.

Desired Qualification (s):

• Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or equivalent certification.
• Experience with API integrations and banking technology platforms.
• Proficiency in wireframing tools (e.g., Figma, Balsamiq, Adobe XD).

Day To Day:

An employer is seeking a Product Owner for a large financial client sitting in Charlotte, NC. This person will be joining the CashPro team which is their internal digital banking platform and will be responsible for helping to build a new internal application. This role requires strategic vision, technical understanding, and stakeholder collaboration to ensure the successful delivery of a high-quality product. The ideal candidate will work closely with engineering, UX/UI, business teams, and leadership to define requirements, prioritize features, and drive execution in an Agile environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Define and maintain the product roadmap, ensuring alignment with business goals.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, including business teams, developers, and UX designers, to gather requirements and translate them into actionable user stories.
• Utilize Jira and Confluence to manage product backlog, track progress, and document key decisions.
• Create wireframes and mockups to visualize product features and workflows.
• Lead Sprint Planning, Backlog Grooming, and User Story Refinement sessions.
• Ensure compliance with banking regulations and industry best practices.
• Monitor KPIs and customer feedback to continuously improve product offerings.
