Job Description

Metro Light & Power is a fast-paced, design-forward manufacturer of custom LED lighting solutions for the hospitality and commercial office segments. We are looking for a Lighting Product Manager to support our team in the development and execution of our high quality LED solutions.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is intelligent, detail-oriented, and eager to help bring innovative, design-driven products to life.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review client-provided shop drawings and specifications to configure LED lighting solutions that meet technical and design requirements

• Generate bills of materials and quotations for lighting fixtures and control components

• Track and coordinate orders, delivery schedules, and logistics with our factories in China and Vietnam

• Participate in prototyping and mocking up custom details and configurations

• Communicate effectively with clients, engineers, designers, and internal teams throughout each project phase

Ideal Candidate Will:

• Have a minimum of 2 years of experience in product management (lighting, architectural design, technical theater, or construction)

• Be familiar with LED lighting systems, architectural dimming, or control

understanding of DMX, RDM, DALI, or related networking protocols (a plus, not required)

• Be highly organized and detail-driven, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines

• Be proficient with Microsoft Excel, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and capable of learning internal software quickly

• Have working knowledge of AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and/or ProE

• Have strong written and verbal communication skills and a collaborative approach

• Hold a BA or BS in Engineering, Industrial Design, Architecture, Business, or a related field
